Alison Parson has been singing since... well, forever. She is a recent graduate of MTSU with a major in Recording Industry/Music Business and a minor in marketing. Alison is a fresh new face on the music scene in Nashville and has been singing and writing her own music since she arrived. She has performed at:  

    *  The Liberty bowl appearing with B.B. King
   
    * Sang for mass at the Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris, France.
   
    *  Eurodisney where she played "Sandy" in Grease
   
    * "Gilley's" in Dallas, TX (made popular by the   motion picture "Urban Cowboy").
   
    * The Wild Horse Saloon in Nashville, TN
   
    * Sporting events such as the ESPN boat races, the NAIA football championship, Tupelo T-Rex Hockey, Memphis Riverkings Hockey, and the Memphis Redbirds baseball team.
   
    * Opened shows for artists like Vince Gill, Amy Grant, The Oak Ridge Boys, Linda Davis, Little Big Town, Cindy Moore, and the Clark Family.
   
    * You can also find her in several music videos on GMT.

      Alison made her first television debut on the Dr. Phil show along side Thomas Hardin. Clips showed the two singing a duet written by recording artist Keith Urban.  Soon after she was a finalist in the "Next American Superstar" competition where she made it to the final three contestants.  The show was aired on IdleAir television and afterwards her sponsor (Smithway Motor Express) signed Alison to an advertising deal representing their company and her music.

      Alison appeared for three days in Louisville, KY at the FFA/FHA convention at which approximately 60,000 high school students were in attendance.

      Not only is Alison an amazing singer/songwriter...she is also an active philanthropist involved with several different organizations such as:

 

    * Character Counts
    * Terra's Angels
    * The Make A Wish Foundation
    * America's Promise
    * The Alison Parson Project


Alison has helped raise over $30,000 for Vanderbilt Childrens Hospital and has spent countless hours speaking to children about the importance of believing in themselves and their dreams.
